The number of project folders in our file system has grown too large and is slowing down work outside of Projetex. What can we do about that?

A good solution in this situation would be to take the folders of old, completed projects and move them into a new folder (e.g. .../PROJECTS/Archive) You can further subdivide the Archive folder into subfolders by year, if you wish.
That way, the old projects will not get in the way, while the new ones will still be accessible via the top field in Projetex' "Files" tabs.
