I cannot create or open a memory file - these options are greyed out in the Memory menu

If the New and Open commands in the Memory menu are greyed out, this means that a translation memory is already open in AnyMem. Before loading a different translation memory, or creating a new one, please close the currently used memory first. To close a currently open translation memory, please select the "Memory >> Close" command.
