How to upgrade to Projetex 3D
Posted by Mykhailo Serhiievskyi (AIT) on 11 September 2016 01:18 PM

To upgrade to Projetex 3D, you will need to order the corresponding license here:

http://www.translationmanagementsoftware.com

Prices are listed on the website and depend on the number of workstations you want to upgrade to and the version of Projetex you currently own.

Note: An automatic upgrade is possible if you upgrade to the number of workstations you currently own.

For example, if you own a Projetex 10, 1 Server 4 Workstations license, you can upgrade to a Projetex 3D, 1 Server 4 Workstations.

In other cases, you might need to contact our support team for a manual upgrade after you order the license.

You can reach our support team at www.aithelp.com

If you want to use your existing database, you will need to convert it into the new format.

You need to use the Projetex 3D Database Converter tool which is bundled with Projetex 3D for this purpose.

You can find the Projetex 3D Database Converter shortcut in your Start menu, at "Projetex 3D >> Projetex 3D Database converter".

At the moment the converter accepts only Projetex 10 Database files.

To use databases from earlier versions of the program, you first need to convert them into Projetex 10 databases with the bundled Projetex 10 converter, also found in the Start menu, at "Projetex 3D >> Projetex 10 Database converter". Then you will be able to use the Projetex 3D converter on the newly created Projetex 10 database file.

As Projetex 3D uses the same folder structure as Projetex 10, it is usually not necessary to move your templates.
