How can I change the number of digits after the comma
Posted by - NA - on 24 February 2006 02:34 PM

To change the number of digits after the comma, please edit the fnum command parameter in the template.

This command simply tells the parser to round up the value to the specified number of digits after the decimal point.

For example, to display 2 digits after a job's total in an invoice: \fnum(DTLINKJOBS:CJOB_TOTAL,2)\.

Can this software create bills that round up to the nearest 0.05 or 0.00 yet? I.e. 50.48 is automatically rounded to 50.50 and 50.42 is rounded to 50.40.

Dear Martin F. Slater,

Thank you for your comment.

Unfortunately, at this moment it is impossible to change a rounding method in Projetex and TO3000.

I would like to mention that Projetex and TO3000 round results of all calculations using Gaussian or Banker's Rounding algorithms which are more accurate than standard rounding methods. You can find a short example and explanation of this rounding method in the following article:

Feel free to contact us if you have any questions.

Best regards,
Alexey.
