My DOCX document takes several minutes to count in the Anycount word count tool, despite not having much text. How do I reduce the time?

It is possible that the document has too many shapes and other non-text elements in it.

Please try saving the document in the DOC format before adding it to the Anycount word count tool.

Open it in MS Word, go to "File >> Save As" and select the DOC format.

This will "simplify" the document's non-text elements and reduce the analysis time.
